Typography Update

 

I realised that part of the reason the last title looked so grainy was because I had made the original artwork in Illustrator without the pink, and brought it into Photoshop and duplicated the layer and used a paint tool to fill in the second layer pink, so I went back to my original Illustrator file and added the pink outline there. 

Then I brought that into After Effects and used a Bad TV effect, and rendered it with a transparent video background instead of using a green screen background as keying it out later sapped the vibrancy of the colour out of the text.

Then I brought it into Final Cut to see what it looked like on the footage, and it came out much crisper and more vibrant. There's a little bit of fray around the edges but that's due to the glitch effect that I used but seems more subtle and appropriate for the typography than before.
