Class Meeting

In class we talked about what our plan was for the context and compositing of the video. Still waiting for the audio is making this planning a little difficult but we have an early draft of the song which helps us visualize the tempo and lyrics of the composition.

Our main focus was the storyboards. Darragh made an initial storyboard draft. This gave us a good direction for where we want to go with the piece. However, this made us think about our composition as a whole and not rush into a random narrative. We planned on doing some background research and inspirations on the narrative through looking at similar pieces and see how they approached a similar topic / mood. We are also going to split the narrative into three and mash them together in the edit. These three narratives are linked and add context, mood and motives for our main character.

We are starting to plan the logistics of filming as well. Darragh will be scouting some locations that we have caught out interest. We are also thinking on possible shots that we could take, using drones, gimbals and mood lighting to highlight the terrain.
